About Power BI Training London
Power BI Training London is an independent recommendation resource for anyone trying to find the right Power BI course in London. We review providers, compare formats, and give honest guidance – so you can make a confident decision without wading through provider marketing.
How We Evaluate Providers
Not all Power BI courses are equal, and the differences that matter most aren’t always visible from a provider’s own website. We assess London-based training providers against four criteria:
Instructor quality: We look for Microsoft-Certified Trainers with active, specialist Power BI delivery experience. A generalist MCT who covers 20 tools teaches differently from someone who has specialised in Power BI for several years. The distinction matters most when something goes wrong in your data model, and you need to understand why.
Class size: Small groups change the learning experience in ways that are difficult to overstate for a tool like Power BI. We consider a maximum of 6 delegates the meaningful threshold – it’s the point at which a trainer can genuinely adapt pace, answer every question, and catch misunderstandings before they compound.
Curriculum depth: A good Power BI course covers the full stack: data connections, Power Query, the data model, DAX, and report publishing. We flag providers whose “advanced” course is a longer beginner course in disguise, and those whose DAX coverage doesn’t extend beyond basic measures.
Post-course support: The questions that matter most often arise two or three weeks after the course, when you’re applying what you learned to a real business problem. Providers who include structured post-course support deliver meaningfully better long-term outcomes than those who don’t.
